This year National Geographic published a powerful account of that impressive track record of Dutch agriculture. It makes that farmers worldwide look at the Netherlands as their source of inspiration. Agriterra is embedded in that success story and links the Dutch track record in agricultural technology development and organisation of the sector, to progress in many countries.

By mobilising top-notch Agripool experts from the Dutch agrifood sector who put their expertise at the disposal of cooperatives and farmers’ organisations worldwide, we bring the fruits of the impressive development of Dutch agriculture to the colleagues in Asia, Africa and Latin America. Young and female farmers receive extra attention. In that way, cooperatives can reach a next level. Farmer organisations in general can develop services to render to their members in support of their entrepreneurship in or outside agriculture. And, they can professionalise their advocacy with our FACT flagship tool.
There are more opportunities. We lobby and work to establish links between agribusiness companies and our clientele cooperatives, central pivot of our campaign “Small Farmers, Big Deal”.
We are proud to present you the 2016 results. Though impressive, we know that the best is yet to come.
