Action plan 2016 is focusing on improved production, both in quantity and quality. Besides, MCCCU wants to work on and profit from increased local consumption of coffee (marketing local coffee).
To achieve increased production per member cooperative society, more agronomists will be hired.
These agronomists will work on: Training on good quality coffee, fertilizer, and application of manure, d management of demo farms
Set targets for 2016:
1. Improve the quality and the quantity of both the green coffee and the brewed coffee by 20% in 2016, 30% in 2017 and 50% in 2018.
2. Increase the local consumption of the brewed coffee by 50% in 2016
